US Virgin Islands Post-Deployment Readjustment Guide

About the Guide

The information available on this website was developed as part of the project "Printed and Web-Based OEF/OIF Culturally Relevant Family Education Materials." This website was created to facilitate access and distribution of this valuable information. Through this website you can download and print information about post-deployment readjustment. Just "click" on the title of the newsletter that interests you. Each page can be printed individually, or you can print the entire guide as a PDF document. To print, simply download and then print the PDF document.

This information on this website is for military men and women in the US Virgin Islands who proudly served Iraq and Afghanistan as well as their families. We heard many personal stories from US Veterans and their families about the challenges of returning home from war. From those stories, we created this guide to help Veterans, their friends, and family readjust to life post-deployment. The information throughout this website has been reviewed and verified by a panel of experts. Members of this panel included healthcare professionals, active service men and women of the military, and Veterans from the US Virgin Islands.
