Description of Services

The Associate Chief of Staff for Education (ACOS) leads organizational efforts that directly promote employee’s talent, skills and knowledge development by supporting Education programs (see Education Programs List). Also leads the strategic initiatives done by the organization that promotes employee’s development, aligning efforts that promote the cultural transformation that leads to a learning organization.

Internship Information

We welcome you to the Caribbean VA Healthcare, San Juan, PR, Trainees
program. As a teaching hospital, we have affiliations with the three accredited
medical schools in Puerto Rico

  • Ponce School of Medicine
  • Universidad Central del Caribe Medical School
  • The University of Puerto Rico (UPR)

and 55 different associated health programs. Through these affiliations we provide training to around 800 trainees, medical residents, interns, and students each year.
