VA Medical Center Announces Groundbreaking of New Parking Garage

San Juan, Puerto Rico – The VA Caribbean Healthcare System is pleased to announce the construction of a new parking garage in the premises of the San Juan Hospital in Rio Piedras.

The new parking garage will provide additional 1,537 spaces once completed. The construction will be done in two phases at an estimated cost of $26.9 million dollars.

This addition will improve the veterans experience in accessing the San Juan VA Hospital. To celebrate this accomplishment, a groundbreaking ceremony will be held on January 31, 2013.
