Vaccination Clinic at Euripides Rubio Ponce CBOC

April 12, 2021

VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) is offering a Moderna COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Euripides Rubio, Ponce Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).

San Juan, Puerto Rico:— VACHS announced today it is providing the Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations to anyone who served in the military, their caregivers, spouses, and some other beneficiaries under the authority granted by the SAVE LIVES Act, signed by President Joe Biden March 24, 2021.

On Saturday, April 17th from 8:00am to - 3:00pm the clinic will be accepting WALK-INS, but prioritization will be provided to those with scheduled appointments.

The expanded authority depends on readily available COVID-19 vaccine supply and requires the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to continue to prioritize Veterans enrolled in VA care.

Those eligible under the SAVES LIVES Act can schedule an appointment by calling 787-641-4591, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, to register and stay informed on VA’s vaccine rollout process. VACHS will contact Veterans when additional vaccine is available.
